Their Back.....
Remember Treasure Island's own newspaper the Island Reporter? Well, after a 3 year hiatus, the Island Reporter is poised to make a return.
Backed publisher Bill Edwards, the old gang, including yours truly, are returning to print in order bring you the latest in news and opinion about our little island and neighboring communities.
The first edition should be available in a couple of months and be sure to check out the world famous "Bums View" column.

Unmanned Patrols....
The "Speed Pimples" that were placed by our incompetent City Manager around the Clock Tower are working so poorly to slow traffic that the City has now parked an unmanned patrol car in the parking lot of the former Chinese restaurant in a vain attempt to fool drivers into thinking their speed is being monitored by a real live Police Officer.
Now we have fake speed bumps and fake police speed traps to go along with our fake City Manager and fake City Commission.

Nice Choice....
Here are your choices, or should I say lack of choices for City Commissioner in the up coming March elections.
For District 2 the old brow beating crank Ed Gayton Jr. is attempting to obtain two more year in which to continue to run the City into the ground.
Ed will be opposed by Isle of Palms resident Larry Lunn. I have met Larry on several occasions and though he can't seem to remember my name or who I am anything is better than two more years of Gayton.
If the cloud of marijuana smoke ever clears from Sunset Beach you will notice that Alan Bildz is running for a third term in District 4 and is being challenged by the ever entertaining Don Callahan. You got to think the Commission Meetings would really be a hoot if Callahan was elected.
