Welcome to our New Home

We welcome the loyal readers of T I Beach Bums to the Bum's new home.

Six years ago we began to make fun of Treasure Island politics, residents, visitors and ourselves to blow off some steam, never expecting to become as widely read as we have or build the subscriber base that has found and supported T I Beach Bums. The combination of making people laugh while trying to get a point across has caught the fancy of many beach residents whether they agree with our political views or take the Gary and Connie Becker opposing side of the issue.

Over the years we have revamped the website several times and each time we quickly pushed the new design to it's limit. Also, during the past year we have been asked to expand our coverage beyond Treasure Island to include neighboring beaches which became increasingly difficult under the banner of T I Beach Bums.

We have also increased the size of our computer services company which also goes under the name of
T I Beach Bums making it difficult to use the same website to showcase political satire with a site that represents a company that specializes in quality computer services.

In order to better serve all of those who support us, both readers and computer services customers, we have been able to obtain several new domain names that will more accurately depict the content of that site.

GulfCoastComputerServices.com is now the home of TIBeachbums Inc. computer services company.

GulfBeachNews.com is now the home of the political satire and opinion that has made TIBeachbum.com so successful.

TIBeachbums.com is now home to a Beach Bum's guide to Treasure Island and the surrounding area detailing in a humorus way our favorite spots to eat, drink and play along with insider tips for visitors to our island.

The Bum's welcome you to Gulf Beach News where you will find the same unfair and unbalanced reporting you became accustomed to at T I Beach Bums. We are sure you will enjoy our new format as much as, if not more than the old Bum's. By the way, the ads that appear on this site help offset the cost of managing and hosting what you are reading.
