Are you a Treasure Island voter? Are you wondering what to do with those mischievous City Commissioners during the long summer? Well, the Treasure Island Recreation Department has the answer to your prayers.

Beginning May 22 and running through August 4 th, the City of Treasure Island will conduct a summer camp for your City Commissioner. The City Commissioners Summer Camp is a specially designed program to keep your City Commissioner entertained during the long boring months of summer. Treasure Island Summer Camp

The camp is funded by the generous
folks at Citizens for Competent Government
and your City Commissioner can attend
at no cost. For those lucky residents who
have a especially annoying Commisioner,
there is a special program for extremely
challenged City Commissioners and
those who qualify will actually be paid
to attend the camp. Attendance will be
limited so you are encouraged to register
your City Commissioner early.

Camp activities will include specially designed educational games to improve your City Commissioner’s skills in micro-managing minor City business while ignoring major issues , how not to make a decision and look like you are actually doing something, acting like you know it all and believe you do know it all even though everyone in the Community thinks you are a pompous egotist and finally how to alienate the voting public by failing to participate in any City functions outside of Commission Meetings.
